Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly to Daytrail, including account details, profile information, trip plans, route notes, photos, journal entries, and messages or requests you send to support.
We may also collect technical information such as device type, app version, browser, approximate location derived from your device or content, log data, and usage events that help us operate, secure, and improve Daytrail.
How we use information
We use your information to provide Daytrail features, including planning trips, saving moments, showing your content across devices, enabling shared adventures, and responding to support requests.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand product usage, improve reliability, detect abuse, and develop new features.
Photos, trips, and shared content
Content you add to Daytrail remains yours. When you create, publish, or share trips, moments, photos, or itinerary details, people with access to that trip may be able to view that content.
You are responsible for choosing what to share and for ensuring you have permission to upload or share content involving other people.
Service providers
We use trusted service providers to run Daytrail, including hosting, authentication, database, storage, analytics, error monitoring, and email services. These providers process information only as needed to support Daytrail.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide Daytrail, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements.
You may request deletion of your account or personal information by contacting support@daytrail.to. Some information may remain in backups or logs for a limited period where required for security or legal reasons.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No internet service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If you believe your account or data has been compromised, contact us at support@daytrail.to.

Daytrail is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
